So let me get this straight: you've already completed every review for the entire year of 2009, but you're still gonna make us wait endless months for their addictive awesomeness?! Curse you, Linkara! Curse you!!

(This has been a nonsensical rant by a diseased maniac. Please disregard.)

Especially Watchmen..........and the Daredevil one.............................andNewblood (god do I hate newblood).........and the one that seems ot be about One more day........and....ah screw it I want ot see all of them.....NOW!!! Failure to comply will be met with you being cut out of reality into unreality by men with scisor hands who aren't real!

I can't even remotely express how much I am anticipating AMAZONS ATTACK.

One of my friends just bought those issues from me. SUCKER. :)

Is it wrong that I can identify the crapitude of many of these books because I've read them already?
Should I be proud I've survived them or hang my head in shame?

p.s. not so surprised about Watchmen being there, a friend asked me about it and I told her there really isn't a hero character or anyone you're even really comfortable with being around in it (with the exception of maybe Silk Spectre 1). She looked at me blankly and asked how that could be a story worth reading and I had to reference Great Gatsby.

p.p.s. Seriously Linkara, the L.A. comic book fangirls might become a problem if you keep up the witty banter and clever turns of phrase ;)

Watchmen?

Huh. You're right that was unexpected.

Looks like some fun stuff. Keep it coming.

Nice comic reviews, but where are the MANGA reviews?!

Hi, Nice to meet you, comic fans. I am Aurabolt, someone who is new at comics relatively because I've only ever read comics by friends who have recommended me to read them...and that includes Watchmen.

Now, don't get me wrong; I am not only completely willing to see this comic burn, but I encourage it. Although I find the book interesting, I am a bigger fan of hearing others' opinions about a book, especially when I don't know much about the universe of comics. To me, knowledge-positive or negative- is enjoyable.

So, I look forward to watching Watchmen (no pun intended, but still a little chuckleworthy) when it comes out. What I wanted to do is first thank Linkara for helping me find what comics I shouldn't be reading: I still don't know why One More Day is horrible outside that any synopsis doesn't sound like Spiderman's character concept, but Linkara's issues with the comic made me certain that I didn't want to read it.

What I wanted to ask was this; are there any comics I should go out and read? I figured the best way to find out what to read is to ask Comic Book fans themselves.

Watchmen you should most certainly pick up. I'm not going to say a dang thing about the Watchmen review. People will find out when they see it.

As for other comics to read, titles that I enjoy that haven't recently been cancelled include Justice Society of America, Wonder Woman, Deadpool, and Trinity.

Well, now you've got me good and psyched! Can't wait to see these reviews. I wasn't much into comic books before (well, American ones anyway), but I've been taking you up on a few of your recommendations for good ones, and have yet to be disappointed.

I actually still own the second issue of Air Raiders, which I picked up at the neighborhood 7-Eleven when I was eight during one of those weeks when there wasn't a new Transformers issue out.

I have a few theories about that Watchmen review. One involves a deal with the devil. Another might involve references to another Spider-man saga that had lots of ups and downs, also covered by the man Linkara himnself also briefly. And the most obvious one I think, goes without saying. If it isn't clear and answered 31 days from now I'd be surprised (cut to me 31 days from now with egg on my face, when I should have said 32 days). So until U.S.1 and Charles Barkley mix up their silver dollars, Make Mine Linkara!

I just recently started watching your reviews... Well, not exactly recently, I have watched all the spoony crossovers, but the Silent Hill stuff really pulled me in, since I love those games so much and hated the comics with the same passion.
BTW, Do you like anime and manga? Ive been watching your old reveiws and I heard a Chobits ref and a Eva ref... Just wondering, though ^^
