Numerous people have been trying to contact me over Skype or asking me for Twitter information, so let me clear some stuff up:
PLEASE do not try to contact me over Skype. Not that I don't like talking to fans, but I use Skype to contact other content producers on TGWTG and I don't appreciated random people wanting to talk to me. If you want to talk to me, please just shoot me an e-mail. I usually respond (though AOL and Comcast seem to have issues with my e-mail server) and I'm more than happy to read what you have to say there.
Now, as for Twitter. Yes, I have a Twitter, but I don't use it. I signed up so I could message someone over it. That being said, the "at4w" account is not mine. I'm not sure who set it up, but whoever did it I'd appreciate it if they closed it, since I don't appreciate people impersonating me. That's it! Revolution of the Mask Issue 2 coming soon!
snaz bro. while i've yet to make the attempt myself, i was tempted now and then to see if you were on skype or not. at least now i know not to worry about it... at least not yet (i've been thinking about trying to do some vids and such and see if i could get on the team; but between the fact that i haven't created one yet and all the other folks trying to get in, i'm kinda skittish about the idea ^_^; )
ReplyDeleteto anyone else, yes he does respond pretty fast most of the time... i'm 'd-boy' a lurker on tgwtg.com and asked a couple of questions to which he answered and gave some useful directions i could go. the best part about e-mail though is that you don't have to answer that second, so don't worry if he doesn't get back to you that second. dude's a busy guy trying to entertain and educate us with the amusement that is bad comics. XD
anyhoo, again thanks for dropping the line about contacting you, link.
looking forward to monday X3
Makes sense - I'm in a minor podcast, and even though we've only got something like 300 fans, I've even gotten bothered by a random guy before.
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest contacting Twitter about the account. That sort of impersonation is against their terms of service, specifically clause 4 of the basic terms.
ReplyDeleteI imagine with some basic proof of identity, they would be more than happy to close the impersonating account for you.
I totally didn't have to look up what skype meant. Why would you say such a patently ridiculous thing?
ReplyDeleteSomeone actually took the time to impersonate you? Very bizarre, I mean what do they hope to accomplish with such stupidity?
ReplyDelete...should I be apologizing, or am I not included there?

Unfortunatly, the Internet is home to a lot of very unpleasent people who not seem to realize that we entered a new golden age with this wonderfull invention and don't treat it and its users with the respect it deserves.
P.S. have you ever read youtube comments? ;)
I agree with the person who said you should contact Twitter about the person with your account. He even has your Lightbringer icon. So, it may be time to take action.
ReplyDeleteAs for contacting you on Skype, I understand completely. We discussed this earlier and you have a point. Perhaps this'll go a long way to deal with the people. They just have to understand that you do the vids and write two comics.
That isn't an easy task! I try to get by with just ONE! Anyway, let's hope people listen.
Ahh. I tried to contact you through the e-mail available here shortly before you posted this. About the Judge Dredd Batman crossover comic and it's chaotic art work.
ReplyDeleteI hope I haven't contributed to your reasons for this post.
Thomas
Thanks for letting us know the boundaries. :) It's helpful.
