And then Deadpool comes in and screws it all up for him so he has to curse him with immortality.
Deadpool: Ain't I a stinker?
You know, if he was going to do a Deadpool review it would have to be him starring in a bad comic. Which is hard because when Deadpool shows up he usually just turns things so ridiculous that he alone can redeem an otherwise boring read.
Of course the same goes for Harley Quinn in DC and even she couldn't make Countdown good so perhaps theres a comic out there that stars Deadpool that isn't good.
I just haven't read one yet.
At most I wouldn't mind a mention of him in the Cable review to come.
I remember facing Thanos in a game I bought once for the Playstation. And he had the gauntlet, and the gems it held at his disposal. Man, was that a hard fight. But Thanos is pretty cool. Now that I know their was a book based on him, I will find it and read it myself.
Jeez, Thanos, don't you know that necrophilia is an arrestable offense in twenty-seven sectors of the multiverse? Put it back in your space suit and go on eHarmony or something.

Um.......... what? There are tons of comics, and series showcasing Thanos as either the main villain, part of a villain team, or even just having him manipulating events behind the scenes.Hell there have even been a few occasions were he has teamed up with heroes, but usually only when he is looking to his own benefit. "Infinity Gauntlet" is just one of the more well known series involving him. .I'm assuming you are being sarcastic with the videogame thing. Just trying to envision an epic video game battle keeps making me laugh.

Aww, I thought it was a Sandman cross-over when you said "Win the affection of death herself".
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be more Sandman cross-overs.
That series kicked so much freaking ass.
You should do Punisher Max in five panels
ReplyDeleteOkay, Mephisto: first you try to push people together, then you try to push them apart... make up your mind!
ReplyDeleteamusing. i can remember seeing the cover to this i know not how oft, and never did i know the contents within...

Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet were the two things that got me well and truly hooked on comics.

ReplyDeletelol! now im gonna have to pull them out and give them another read
ReplyDeletebut yeah, i like this series
Infinity Gauntlet brings back many good memories of comics in the early 90s. War and Crusade were alright. Abyss was weird, though.
ReplyDeleteI think I just liked Lim's art at the time.
Linkara could do a video for Deadpool like he did for Blue Beetle.
ReplyDeleteNice use of Barry White
ReplyDeleteMan, I remember the whole Infinity Gauntlet stuff from that arcade game, Marvel Super Heroes.
ReplyDeleteI also vividly remember all the Marvel Heroes getting pwned by Thanos, some of which were kinda gruesome.
Good times, my friend, good times. :)
