Really like how the skulls shake as if they are laughing along with you at the end of this one. It doesn't always work out that way.
I once saw someone trembling asking me to stop using an eerie tone and sing song style slowly saying lyrics to Christmas songs in a stair way. I did that because earlier in the same day I said the Freddy skipping rope chant and it sounded just like the movies only with a bit extra echo.
I think I was in Santa Claus is Coming to Town right then.
On the cover with the smoking gun and the picture of StarFire in the frame with a similar style shirt cuff on the ghost wrist I was at first thinking it was a nightmare scenario where she had been killed.
Dial H #0 was a one-shot story Sure, it served mostly to explain the Dial's origin and it's nature, but it can be read on it's own without any knowlage of the other issues
I've not read any Teen Titans comic but was and still am a huge fan of the cartoon series. I think picking up this issue would be a good one to have since the main story is nice and self-contained.
Of all the comics I'd thought I'd be seeing this event I didn't think a traditional Teen Titans comic would be one of them. I guess you showed me. Couldn't resist talking about your favourite superhero team huh?
Another fine episode, and I love the unexpected variety in this series. I wasn't expecting a Teen Titans comic, yet it turns out there was one just perfect for Halloween.
Was that a joke? "Dick Grayson, age 19." really reminded me of "Dick Grayson, age 12." from our old friend's batman work. Starring a crazy hobo who stuffed batman in a closet and stole his stuff.
Actually, I'm confused is Moarte really some kind of schizophrenic or can he just talk to dead people? Seriosuly, can you please provide an answer or some sort of explanation?
Though if I may have permission to nitpick again, I can probably tell in both this and Dracula VS Zorro (there might be other episodes since I've only seen around 17 or 18 all the way through) that you seem to record those on-camera bits before recording the voice over ones because sometimes you repeat stuff you said literally one scene ago.
I just hope I don't become the successor to D**chey McNitpick or if these comments are annoying the crap out of you

ReplyDeleteOh great, now I'm wondering if the walls in my house have dead bodies inside.
ReplyDeleteThough that is an effective twist on a ghost story.

ReplyDeleteThe LOTD continue to be very entertaining, kudos.
"Dick Grayson, aged 19"
ReplyDeleteI see what you did there. :)
Can't believe October is almost over. I'm going to miss Moarte! :( Then again, he has earned his rest.

Usagi Yojimbo and Futurama almost always do done-in-ones.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to tomorrow's episode.
Well, my house is a new build which I saw pretty much build up from scratch... I doubt any dead people are residing in it... XD

ReplyDeleteThat's a little unfair to say the house is insane... it just goes a little mad sometimes. We all go a little mad sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHaven't you?
Man, talk about literal madhouses
DeleteIs it offensive/weird to say that the undead schizophrenic magician from Romania says "room" more clearly than your true self,Linkara?
ReplyDeleteActually, I'm confused is Moarte really some kind of schizophrenic or can he just talk to dead people? Seriosuly, can you please provide an answer or some sort of explanation?
ReplyDeleteMoarte listens to the sounds of the night.
ReplyDeleteMoarte talks to the restless who have moved on and hears the voices of those who have yet to come.
Moarte is neither living nor dead.
Moarte is the guardian of the longbox, its keeper and conveyer.
Moarte IS.
Okay, maybe it's just me that's crazy *calls mental health line*
DeleteOMG not only is the confusion cleared up ,but you made it sound very creepy, and kind of awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteLongbox Marathon in July FTW!
