Yeah kinda dark. You know your riffs that actually have something to do with the video are better than the random ones like "Beast Wars" That one came off more like heckling than Riffing. I know its not much difference but well sore thumbs are noticeable.
I wonder if anyone else will realize that this was filmed back when you got a penalty for jumping at all during a basketball game.
Oh and back then skirts that could show your knees when you moved were considered scandalously revealing. It was back when even Quakers could be found writing diary entries about the Heathen English being ridiculously prudish in spite of the offensive colors of their attire. I know because I've seen a few of those diaries.
Really sad thing is given the time of the movie Corby could have died from just about anything and everything we now treat with antibiotics. Or you know could have been an AIDS victim long before it was diagnosed.
Its an ok riff, had a few laughs but the modern pop culture heckling just felt out of place. Like you were forced to watch and trying to come up with something better to distract yourself.
Oh wow the local public transportation, has a campaign called B.O.B. Behaviour On the Bus with this kindly cartoon guy Bob telling people how not to be total assholes. Now I will forever think of him as being Bob Corbie.
This is actually a pretty amazing short, the whole thing does seem to be more about the debate on if the historical actuality behind Jesus or Buddhist lore or what not is important compared to the actual execution of the message.
The jokes were just top grade in this one so many good opportunities for humor... I think there's only one possible type of 'spirit' joke you missed: Exercising a demon, 'the spirit of school compels you! The spirit of school compels you!'
Not gonna lie...this is probably one of my favorite riffs that you've done so far. I was rolling around in my chair with laughter while you were venerating Bob Corby.

i never heard school spirit sound more religious sicne i sat in a class of christian school. its insane. then again religion can be somewht insane. except buhdeism. that is the only religion taht does not damn you for being alive. it only damns you for being too corrupt. eat to celebrate, but eat not too gluttony and stuff.
good to see some new riffs. hilarious as usual. hmmm, will the riffs replace Psa Hell month? i forget which month that is though, but i am still curious.
The audio of the original clip is barely audible to me, so a lot of your riffs just sound like they come out of nowhere. Is anyone else having this issue?

We didn't have some Christ figure for our school spirit, we did more crazier things like Pajama day. I feel bad for those that slept in their undies. I kid of course they actually brought pajamas for an occasion as this to avoid indecent exposure. Still Halloween was our best one. This guy I knew actually took the time to build a Zabuza costume sword and all. Myself I dressed up as War Time Kyle Reese from the first Terminator movie.
Bob Corby was sacrificed in a slow, painful way as to be an example of what happens if you doubt the faith in your school spirit.

Bob Corby's followers later went on to to kill over 300 "non-believers." They called it the Spirit Crusade.
