Question though, in your twitter comments you mentioned having to cut some extra videos as they couldn't fit on the DVD with the main content. Will we see that extra content show up on the site as promotional material for the DVD?
"Question though, in your twitter comments you mentioned having to cut some extra videos as they couldn't fit on the DVD with the main content. Will we see that extra content show up on the site as promotional material for the DVD?"
Turns out that when I switched to a different DVD-creation program, I was able to fit everything on there without cutting anything. ^_^
Damn! I'm quite short on cash now. I will buy it eventually, but it might be another week or two. And sadly, I have to work next Saturday morning. So, I won't be showing up for AT4W Live at Anime Midwest. I hope you have a fun time!
I am so excited... hopefully my mom will let me borrow her credit card... and not mind that twenty dollars is the grand total of my earnings this summer...
ah man you're crazy, Captain Flash is awesome. Like when was the last time you saw Batman helping out at a circus instead of patrolling the city? ... without punching all the clowns... on second thoughts, maybe they booked Crazy Steve instead
Hans--the bad news: there are NO old episodes on this DVD. The good news: that means the episodes, storyline, and bonus features are ALL exclusive to this DVD--Linkara's found some Golden Age kindling to light. :)
Lewis: After watching your "ads Play" video, and seeing the colossal work you put in to make this DVD, I knew it would be a Day 1 purchase. AT4W Secret Orgins (along with TGWTG v3) are ordered and on the way to my house. Can't wait to watch them both. (BTW, off topic--what does the Critic tackle for the bonus review in DVD 3? (For some reason the page isn't showing me, but allowed me to order it) :)
Looks great, I'm just wondering if you're still planning on a pay-for-download release for international fans? If not I'll still pick up the DVD, I'd just sooner the money went to you rather than a courier.
"Looks great, I'm just wondering if you're still planning on a pay-for-download release for international fans? If not I'll still pick up the DVD, I'd just sooner the money went to you rather than a courier."
Still planning on it, just need to figure out a good way to do it. ^_^
Did not think i'd be able to get this until Christmas or next year. {horrors!} but ask and you shall receive permission. so, order placed- I can't wait!
Ordered. I may not let the ads play (at home, I've mentioned before my attempts to make up for this by playing them at work where Firefox never crashes due to the ads but there's no sound) but dammit I will still buy your products.
Honestly, even if this DOES end up on Pirate Bay, I still think a majority of people would still support Lewis. He's made a good show for us and has made it clear that he wants us to watch ads and buy his merchandise. And I am more than willing to do so.
Hell, I already ordered a DVD and can't wait for it to get here.
That said, if it does end up on Pirate Bay, I *might* end up using it just out of wanting to watch it but being too lazy to get up and get the disc. :P

Lewis Lovhaug I think you might want to look at this.
It is a response to you Ad block video buy TGWTG member (trlkly) There's a difference between putting out a cup for us to contribute to if we like your videos and demanding that we give you money because you put work out. And that's what Linkara does and did.
If it were just that video, it wouldn't be that big a deal. Yeah, he got a little caustic when we said we don't think his show is good enough to support, whining that we didn't respect him or his work, acting as if there's something morally wrong with that. But that's nothing compared to calling us all jerks in a previous video or patrolling the comments of his videos just to jump on anyone who mentions adblock and try to shame them into doing turning it off. He's obsessed with this to the point of being a jerk himself.
And let's not forget, he put out this video at the exact time that people were pissed at Blip.tv for what they were doing. He knew we were upset, but all he gave a shit about was his desire for money. When he was already inevitably going to get more revenue from begrudging users, he rubs it in. WTF? How can you be so clueless?
Plus, like a lot of video reviewers, he lies about the consequences. He put out AT4W before he was doing it full time. There is no inherent reason he couldn't continue to do the show while holding down another job. If he chooses to stop AT4W, it's exactly that, his choice. Yet he keeps on trying to blame it on us.
And this is without going into the quality of the show, which is probably the real reason his funds are down (the only excuse he has for doing this crap). It's repetitive, running the same jokes in the same format, with the same editing error that kills a the timing of a lot of the jokes. The funniness of his show is not due to what he does, but is directly proportional to how bad the comic is. And he's been reviewing a lot of not so bad comics lately, too. I only kept watching because I was hoping it would get better again, and just to have something to do. Not because the show was still good.
So, yeah, I don't respect his show for that or him as a person for what he does. He also doesn't respect his (former) fans. It's a two-way street.
What really sucks for him is that I was about to turn around and discuss these problems with him, and hoping we could come to a satisfactory agreement that would allow me to support him. But then he pissed all over that.
AT4W is the first Internet show I will not watch. I've stuck with some pretty bad stuff before. I stuck with Lupa after the Spoony thing (after a bit of a cooling off period). I stuck with Doug even after trolling us by killing off the Nostalgia Critic in an anniversary video. I stuck with PushingUpRoses after she blocked me on her YouTube channel for being worried about her health and wanting her to let people here know she was okay. But I can't stick with this guy.
I can't look at his face without being so angry I could spit. Pa...
BTW, I love how the only people actually being mean are the ones for adblock. Interesting, huh?
Sure, I got upset the day of the video, but that was, as I said, because I was already upset about Blip.tv and what they did. And, like I said, I normally delete my rants and only leave the level headed stuff, but I thought Linkara needed the actual rants, too, as maybe the emotion would get through his thick head. And, frankly, I was just too mad to fix it.
I have now channeled my anger into something constructive. If you put your stuff on YouTube, and I'm sure that Nintendo et al haven't blocked you from getting money from ads, I leave the ads on. You get more money, and the ads are less intrusive.
And if you are worried about false claims of copyvios, there's also still Springboard, which I also will unblock. But not Blip. And not for Linkara.
"Lewis Lovhaug I think you might want to look at this.
It is a response to you Ad block video buy TGWTG member (trlkly)"
...Why are you reposting things made elsewhere? Also, considering his initial response to the adblock video was to call me "immoral" for making the video, his opinion doesn't exactly carry a lot of weight in my mind. While I freely admit I overreacted to the initial problems and was very rude to people and I apologize for it, there is nothing about the adblock video that "demanded" people give their money away. Hell, it was said in the video that I only put up the donation button because people asked for it. That was all.
And yeah, I was putting up AT4W before I was doing it full time, but it was stressful trying to balance doing both and initially it wasn't entirely on schedule. I don't know what editing errors he's referring to, so perhaps he should be a bit more specific.
And as for numbers, viewership figures have been consistent for the last few years, actually. There wasn't some sudden drop in the amount of people watching, what changed was how many of those views were monetizable.
And I can't believe I have to keep saying this, but if you're trying to post a response to the adblock video, POST THE RESPONSE IN THE ADBLOCK VIDEO. This is the promo for the DVD. People are well aware I have to approve all comments, which means I see comments for stuff going back all the way to the blog's beginning. It doesn't matter where you post it, I'll see it.
Well, thanks. I appreciate the compliment, but don't worry about it in the future. People are allowed to believe what they will and if I spent all my time responding to jerks, I wouldn't get any real work done. XD
"Another Internet Reviewer to ad to the "only in it for the money" list." Wow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet! Admit it Linkara, all this "e-begging" has secretely made you a billionaire, hasn't it!?
To Васька СПб: I resent that accusation. I do not support digital piracy at all, and have never once downloaded a song, movie, game, etc. illegally.
My dad works in cyber security. Growing up, he was always watching my Internet usage to make sure that I didn't do that. After I grew up and was an independent adult, I still don't support piracy because of the mindset that he raised me with.
I know that I am the only one of my peers that can truthfully say that I've never downloaded a file illegally, at least, last time I asked my friends I was.
And sometimes I do wish that my childhood had been different, because it does seem so much easier to just pirate stuff. I have even CONSIDERED doing so a couple times. But actually following through with it? Never.
And I am appalled that you would accuse me of such a thing.
"Wow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet! Admit it Linkara, all this "e-begging" has secretely made you a billionaire, hasn't it!?"
You've found me out. I'm secretly a multi-billionaire living in a mansion that goes out at night to patrol the streets as Batman.
I can't wait to add this to my Birthday list. :D I will definitely put it in the number one spot. :) Thank you so much for being able to get it done before August. ^.^ Now I have something to watch when we go down to Disney. My sister is going to have to watch it with me though because you can only watch the same thing on the little car Tv's we are borrowing. :)(She likes your show though so(hopefully) it won't be an issue.^.^) I am so happy. I hope someone will get it for my b-day on August 5th ^.^
P.S. A Atop the fourth Wall episode is going to be put up on my birthday! :D I can't wait! :3
"Now to play the waiting game until someone puts it up on Pirate Bay." Screw the waiting game, let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos. I am so looking forward to getting this DVD.
So Lewis, if I buy this thing (and I genuinely want to) will you finally answer that e-mail I sent over a year ago and that John reminded you of a month or so ago? I know you get busy and such, but it was just one e-mail and it had some genuine questions and observations in it as opposed to simple "wow, you're awesome" fare.
Anyway, I'm not really trying to hold it over you or anything. I'll buy this when I can. I just really respect your opinion on comics and am somewhat dismayed that you never got back to me.
"You've found me out. I'm secretly a multi-billionaire living in a mansion that goes out at night to patrol the streets as Batman." HAH, BUSTED! Wait... Does this mean you hate rock and roll and are apathetic about bees too?
I recently bought the DVD. Now, obviously, since I have now actually paid for something you made, that means I am now suddenly your boss and you have to do everything I say. I demand the next HoPR, 20 more episodes, a cookie, and no more ads 4evar! YAR!
But no, seriously, keep up the good work man. We appreciate everything you do, whenever you manage to get it done.
Not sure if my last comment went through but will any of these be signed? Or is that only if we meet you at cons? (If the later then alright I'll bring mine to Youmacon this year :D )
"Not sure if my last comment went through but will any of these be signed? Or is that only if we meet you at cons? (If the later then alright I'll bring mine to Youmacon this year :D )"
Just got the DVD and am greatly enjoying it so far. It is a quality product!
Now I'm wondering if the Iron Mask puzzle from Captain Flash applies to the Ravage 2099 puzzle. "Like Ulysses each search to six. Letter Four will give one more." So if I look at all the lines starting with 6 and use the letters under the number 4 I get "NNDZU." Perfect! Now all I have to do is find 6 ZUNND Avenue!
Was a little disappointed in the "Making Of" segment though. I was hoping that you'd show how the hell you have so many characters, all played by you, on screen at once and they interact with each other so seamlessly.
Maybe on Volume 2 we'll get a "Making Of" for storyline bits? Eh?
But I did run into one thing that sort of frightened me... The DVD tends to get stuck in the player. I tried it with a tray based player, and the tray got stuck when I tried to eject it. I tried it with a PS3, and nearly had a freak out when the ps3 was unable to eject it. It did eventually come out, but this happening twice makes me think there is just a small problem. I know it is nothing on your end, and you likely have very little control over it, but it seems that either the DVD is thicker than normal (which shouldn't be a problem since these were both Bluray players, made for larger disks), or because the cover of the disk is actually a little too... Frictiony, is the best word to describe it. I don't know if this issue is only with me, as its entirely possible no one else is having this problem... I just wanted to let you know that it may be an issue that should be avoided if at all possible in the future. A different option for the DVD cover, or a different distributor... I think a cheap paper cover would actually create less friction than the current one. XD
Regardless, the DVD was worth the money, I'll just be playing it in my open top DVD players from now on. ^^'
"I don't know if this issue is only with me, as its entirely possible no one else is having this problem... I did notice the paint seemed a bit thick on some copies of it while others looked like a standard DVD. It might have been the amount of black used on the disc for the logo - it's definitely something that'll be different in future DVDs. ^_^
Oh clarification, apparently the payment was only like, on July 2nd, so I guess it stands to reason I'm gonna be waiting awhile.
Sorry for the trouble. I'm just use to Amazon telling me when to expect that. I'm not sure how much control you have over that though since you don't have robots to pack your stuff.
""Wow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet! Admit it Linkara, all this "e-begging" has secretely made you a billionaire, hasn't it!?"
You've found me out. I'm secretly a multi-billionaire living in a mansion that goes out at night to patrol the streets as Batman."
Well, tell your Bat-Mansion to be safe and wrap up warm when it does that. XD
"bought the dvd, just wondering Linkara how do u track it with the tracking number u get on kunkai.com ? I'm having trouble seeing where it is."
Yeah, for some bizarre reason they don't seem to give YOU the tracking number, but I do have access to it myself so if there's a problem, you can e-mail me with the date you purchased it and I can look it up for you and give you the number.
That being said... mine got caught in the player too
I mean, it was fine - first time I ejected, the disc didn't come out. I had the tray open and close - that time it did come out.
But yeah, probably to do with the paper.
Oh, and a Captain Flash update.
Of the four issues that were made... He didn't fight Iron Mask again. So presume he drowned.
Mirrorman, he actually did fight in the next issue. Killing scientists at a conference. Plus, he actually looked less lizardlike this time - so the name mirrorman is more apt.
He also fights a guy called the Black Knight - and he appears again later too.
And with the circus thing - I never got the idea that he actually worked there - but was just entertaining some kids while the official circus performers were indisposed.
I just got my copy of the DVD last weekend and am enjoying every minute of it (yes, I'm a nerd who even likes watching the commentaries).
Avoiding the spoilers: That sandwich must have been pretty good if you were more focused on eating it rather than wondering what was up with the scary, giggling man who was randomly measuring you.
So I've watched most of the DVD and it is as entertaining (if not more entertaining) than your on-line videos and it was interesting learning about your story and character creation process and your backstory (as well as adding to the characters fictional backstory).
Two little comments about the comic reviews and how plausible the events in them are, on Captain Flash's origin while I think your right that blocking radiation with your own body would not save those around you it is not impossible for one person to get a lethal dose and others in the room to live. Also, anything blocks radiation a little its just that things like lead do it more efficiently (and are nice and dense so compact) than flesh and bone would.
In fact the story sounded familiar to me and a Google search found Louis Slotin, who accidentally set off a nuclear chain reaction at the wrong moment and quickly stopped it with his bare hands (thus resulting in his death and not as comics teach us super powers), but others around him survived (although some suffered radiation poisoning).
The other nit is the idea that Dickie Dean and his sidekick and their code breaking machine would be safer in the centre of London rather than the outskirts. The actual British code breakers were at Bletchley Park a few hours out of London by train and never had security problems.
This suggests an alternate explanation, perhaps Dickie and his friend were actually decoys to attract Nazi attention away from the real brains at Bletchley and hence why the authorities sent them on a dangerous mission to Germany, they were hoping Dickie and his sidekick would not be coming back (they found them even more annoying than you did). ;)
"The other nit is the idea that Dickie Dean and his sidekick and their code breaking machine would be safer in the centre of London rather than the outskirts. The actual British code breakers were at Bletchley Park a few hours out of London by train and never had security problems."
I suppose there is something to be said for keeping things at a remote location where there's nowhere they can hide if they escape from the facility. Just seems like it'd be more secure in the middle of a city where reinforcements can be called in instantly in the case of a security issue.
This will be my Christmas present for myself! Thanks for the discount Lewis. Hope the show keeps running for a long time. Since we don't get adds down here in Costa Rica on Blip.tv I'll try purchasing your merchandise to show my support.
I was wondering if you still had plans to release a pay-for-download version. Or maybe if there is one and I just missed it.
I would really like to watch the DVD, but the cost of international shipping is insanely high, and even if it wasn't, my country just happens to be absent from the list available.
"I was wondering if you still had plans to release a pay-for-download version. Or maybe if there is one and I just missed it."
I'd still like to, but unfortunately I just haven't been able to find an adequate distribution method for it (i.e. a site to host the contents of DVD for sale digitally). If you know something that I could use, I'd be all for it.
Just ordered my copy.
ReplyDeleteQuestion though, in your twitter comments you mentioned having to cut some extra videos as they couldn't fit on the DVD with the main content. Will we see that extra content show up on the site as promotional material for the DVD?

ReplyDeleteI will pick up a copy at anime midwest.
ReplyDeleteThe cover art is amazing. Would make an awesome poster.

ReplyDelete@Lewis Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteIronic I can't work the DVD into the budget for another month for spending too much THIS month on comics. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteSo how many episodes are on this? The Full original Mechakara arc?
ReplyDeletejust ordered mine, can't wait

ReplyDeleteWell luckily I have well over 150 bucks in graduation gift cash so ordering this will be no prob at all.

ReplyDeleteYuppers. Not planning on retiring the DVD at all right now. ^_^
The only downside of an origin story is that none of the other characters are going to be in it because the haven't been invented yet.
ReplyDeleteAlso, LIZ IS BACK!
AWESOME!
Dr. Linksano looks like a PEZ dispenser in the artwork.
ReplyDeleteDid not think i'd be able to get this until Christmas or next year.

so, order placed-

Go watch that... film.
Well, this dvd looks so crappy I can't wait for it. :)
ReplyDeleteI just hope I won't bump into any spoilers before it arrives.
Why did I have to watch Blip ads in order to see an ad for your DVD?
ReplyDeleteIs this the Secret Origins of everyone or just you?
ReplyDeleteBecause I would love to see Mechakara's origin considering that he is the only villain on the cover.
Just thought of something, why are you on the cover twice and Liz is nowhere to be found?
I think it would be awesome if the TGWTG Fifth Year Anniversary was a movie about Linkara, especially considering how little he was in To Boldly Flee.
ReplyDeleteI count characters, not actors.

ReplyDeleteSay, Linkara, will you eventually post the AT4W Vol. 1 DVD episodes on the site soon?
And lucky for you, my dad was willing to pay me to water his garden. Just ordered, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI just want to be sure but I you mentioned somewhere that the DVD will be available at cons. Is that true or is this online order only?

"Another Internet Reviewer to ad to the "only in it for the money" list.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to put a dvd out to just warrant your existence, who are you Chris-chan, oh wait you kinda do look like him."
...Are you an idiot?
"Will you be selling the DVD at Anime Midwest at all? Cause I will happily buy one there if you do! ;)"
ReplyDeletePlanning on it, yep! ^_^
"Lewis Lovhaug I think you might want to look at this.
ReplyDeleteIt is a response to you Ad block video buy TGWTG member (trlkly)"
...Why are you reposting things made elsewhere?
Thank you for telling me that.
ReplyDeleteI always thought you don't response to past videos.
Thanks for you response,
"Why are you reposting things made elsewhere?"
ReplyDeleteBecause i always get Annoyed by response like this by people who think your a big jerk.
wick i no is not true at all.
you are a brilliant internet review who deserve all the praise
you get.
Well, thanks. I appreciate the compliment, but don't worry about it in the future. People are allowed to believe what they will and if I spent all my time responding to jerks, I wouldn't get any real work done. XD
ReplyDeleteYou Welcome.
ReplyDeleteI'm Curious, Lewis.
ReplyDeleteWhat DVD-creation Software did you use to make this?
"Another Internet Reviewer to ad to the "only in it for the money" list."
ReplyDeleteWow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet!
Admit it Linkara, all this "e-begging" has secretely made you a billionaire, hasn't it!?
To Васька СПб: I resent that accusation. I do not support digital piracy at all, and have never once downloaded a song, movie, game, etc. illegally.
ReplyDeleteMy dad works in cyber security.
Will you ship to Canada?
ReplyDelete"I'm Curious, Lewis.
ReplyDeleteWhat DVD-creation Software did you use to make this?"
DVD Architect, after failing to produce it in iDVD and Toast (yeah, I know, I'm ignorant about DVD creation). ^^;
"Wow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet!
ReplyDeleteAdmit it Linkara, all this "e-begging" has secretely made you a billionaire, hasn't it!?"
ReplyDeleteP.S. A Atop the fourth Wall episode is going to be put up on my birthday! :D I can't wait! :3
"Now to play the waiting game until someone puts it up on Pirate Bay."
ReplyDeleteScrew the waiting game, let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm not really trying to hold it over you or anything. I'll buy this when I can. I just really respect your opinion on comics and am somewhat dismayed that you never got back to me.
"You've found me out. I'm secretly a multi-billionaire living in a mansion that goes out at night to patrol the streets as Batman."
ReplyDeleteHAH, BUSTED!
YAR!
ReplyDeleteBut no, seriously, keep up the good work man. We appreciate everything you do, whenever you manage to get it done.
Wait, so Linkara is a Power Ranger AND Batman?
ReplyDeleteMind...blown.
Reasons Why People Should Buy This DVD
ReplyDeleteReason 1: Its Lewis/Linkara's First Movie Of There Own.
Reason 2: It Will Probably Fund AT4W.
Reason 3: Do I Need To Give You More Reasons?
Not sure if my last comment went through but will any of these be signed? Or is that only if we meet you at cons? (If the later then alright I'll bring mine to Youmacon this year :D )
ReplyDelete"Not sure if my last comment went through but will any of these be signed? Or is that only if we meet you at cons? (If the later then alright I'll bring mine to Youmacon this year :D )"
ReplyDeleteYeah, it has to be at conventions. ^_^
Just got the DVD and am greatly enjoying it so far. It is a quality product!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm wondering if the Iron Mask puzzle from Captain Flash applies to the Ravage 2099 puzzle. "Like Ulysses each search to six. Letter Four will give one more." So if I look at all the lines starting with 6 and use the letters under the number 4 I get "NNDZU." Perfect! Now all I have to do is find 6 ZUNND Avenue!
The three DVD episodes were awesome.
ReplyDeleteWas a little disappointed in the "Making Of" segment though. I was hoping that you'd show how the hell you have so many characters, all played by you, on screen at once and they interact with each other so seamlessly.
Maybe on Volume 2 we'll get a "Making Of" for storyline bits? Eh?
Just got the DVD! It is great Linkara!
ReplyDeleteBut I did run into one thing that sort of frightened me...
So I've made my purchase and everything a few weeks ago, I'm just wondering when can I expect it to arrive up here in Montreal?
ReplyDelete"I don't know if this issue is only with me, as its entirely possible no one else is having this problem... ReplyDeleteI did notice the paint seemed a bit thick on some copies of it while others looked like a standard DVD. It might have been the amount of black used on the disc for the logo - it's definitely something that'll be different in future DVDs. ^_^
Oh clarification, apparently the payment was only like, on July 2nd, so I guess it stands to reason I'm gonna be waiting awhile.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the trouble. I'm just use to Amazon telling me when to expect that. I'm not sure how much control you have over that though since you don't have robots to pack your stuff.
Again, hope I recieve it soon.
""Wow, there must be HUGE amounts of cash in reviewing stuff on the internet!

Well, tell your Bat-Mansion to be safe and wrap up warm when it does that. XD
bought the dvd, just wondering Linkara how do u track it with the tracking number u get on kunkai.com ?
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble seeing where it is.
"bought the dvd, just wondering Linkara how do u track it with the tracking number u get on kunkai.com ?
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble seeing where it is."
Yeah, for some bizarre reason they don't seem to give YOU the tracking number, but I do have access to it myself so if there's a problem, you can e-mail me with the date you purchased it and I can look it up for you and give you the number.
Ok, will do Linkara, hope this dvd does well where we can get a Vol. 2 in the future.
ReplyDeleteHey, got mine the other day - great stuff.
ReplyDeleteThat being said... mine got caught in the player too
I mean, it was fine - first time I ejected, the disc didn't come out.
Just wanted to say that i enjoyed the contents of the dvd , keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteGot it yesterday watched everything. Loved every minute of it. Lewis, not bad for your first DVD and I hope to see more in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI just got my copy of the DVD last weekend and am enjoying every minute of it (yes, I'm a nerd who even likes watching the commentaries).
ReplyDeleteAvoiding the spoilers: That sandwich must have been pretty good if you were more focused on eating it rather than wondering what was up with the scary, giggling man who was randomly measuring you.
Just got it, an just watched the ghost stories review. Very funny. Good job
ReplyDeleteSo I've watched most of the DVD and it is as entertaining (if not more entertaining) than your on-line videos and it was interesting learning about your story and character creation process and your backstory (as well as adding to the characters fictional backstory).
ReplyDeleteTwo little comments about the comic reviews and how plausible the events in them are, on Captain Flash's origin while I think your right that blocking radiation with your own body would not save those around you it is not impossible for one person to get a lethal dose and others in the room to live.
ReplyDeleteI suppose there is something to be said for keeping things at a remote location where there's nowhere they can hide if they escape from the facility. Just seems like it'd be more secure in the middle of a city where reinforcements can be called in instantly in the case of a security issue.
Aaand there'll go part of my next paycheck. o: Damn you, Linkara, damn you for being awesome! ... Wait.
ReplyDeleteAny chance of allowing delivery to Russia? Want to order DVD, but just can't. I know, barbaric russkies, but still )
ReplyDeleteThis will be my Christmas present for myself! Thanks for the discount Lewis. Hope the show keeps running for a long time. Since we don't get adds down here in Costa Rica on Blip.tv I'll try purchasing your merchandise to show my support.
ReplyDeleteI ordered my copy for my son as a Christmas present and paid with paypal on 12/11. When will it arrive?
ReplyDelete"I ordered my copy for my son as a Christmas present and paid with paypal on 12/11. When will it arrive?"
ReplyDeleteSend me an e-mail with details of the specific transaction and I shall look into it. ^_^
Finally ordered it even if I sadly got it after the sale was over.
ReplyDeleteThough to be fair it would have been twenty bucks anyway since shipping for me is $4.31
I was wondering if you still had plans to release a pay-for-download version. Or maybe if there is one and I just missed it.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to watch the DVD, but the cost of international shipping is insanely high, and even if it wasn't, my country just happens to be absent from the list available.
"I was wondering if you still had plans to release a pay-for-download version. Or maybe if there is one and I just missed it."
ReplyDeleteI'd still like to, but unfortunately I just haven't been able to find an adequate distribution method for it (i.e. a site to host the contents of DVD for sale digitally). If you know something that I could use, I'd be all for it.
I'm stuck. I honestly have no idea how all those sites work or which of them are available internationally. iTunes maybe? I just don't know.
ReplyDeleteMaybe there are some that would at least let you watch the video without actually downloading it. It would sure beat being unable to see it at all.
...Now that was a useless comment. Sorry for being so unhelpful.
Nah, iTunes may not be a bad idea, actually. It's possible to download the ISO or at least put up each video individually for purchase.
