Were there two NFL Superpro #1's? The copy of the book I had consisted of a origin story and a backup about SuperPro fighting a big roided-up guy?
Football truly is holy. Want proof. Well my father's buissness requires us to travel every weekend. So to cut expenses we bought an RV. A few weeks ago our RV broke down (on railroad tracks no less). And we called the company who informed us they couldn't get ahold of a dispatcher because it was superbowl sunday but that any other sunday wouldn't have been a problem.
SO yes clearly no sport is as sacred and holy as football.
I think that was the Special Edition issue that explained his backstory, or possibly a one-shot before they got into the series proper.
I'm expecting Marvel to revive and revamp this somehow. Perhaps the Superpro mantle is given to every successful QB who leads his team to the Superbowl win. In this case the Steelers' guy, as given to him by Eli Manning, who was given THAT by Payton. etc etc. Oh and the Superpro fights some anthropomorphic Detroit Lions furious of their 0-16 record.
Dude, what software do you keep using for these effects? (e.g. lighting, lasers, voice changing etc.) You mentioned once you use Windows Movie Maker, so you're not using a Mac.
I've upgraded to Adobe Premiere Elements now. ^^

I think I remember him guest starring in a book back then too. It may have been one of the Spider-Man books, but I could be wrong.
In any case, I definitely remember seeing this on the rack and even then realizing that it could be nothing but a bad idea.

It's "Japanese Culture Maniac" (Nihon bunka no maniakku). Sorry, last time I made a note that I started my google blog for my Japanese class, hence the Japanese name.

LOL! This was the first comic I ever bought! Yes, it was hokey, looking back, but it had spider-man, football, and he was a superhero! And I was in fourth grade!
P.S. Love the riff on Angry Video Game Nerd. One of the things I like about your stuff is the lack of language every other word. Thank you for humorous, yet clean offerings!
