...my fans are friggin' AWESOME. I don't see cosplayers of myself very often, so it's cool when they do. It's especially cool when they have exrtas, like a Mechakara or, oh yes, the little extra mile that you'll see below.
All of these were taken from this DeviantArt, so go check out the full size pics if you so desire!
It's not a bad little Pollo prop and I've never seen someone try to do that before! Just a note for those who are inclined to give it a shot, though - it's a common misconception that the bottom of Pollo's box body just has the flaps just hang out (not helped by Pike's drawing doing the same thing). In reality, the flaps are actually in a triangular shape and fold back in to form a hoverskirt. But hey, this is still flippin' awesome.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!
I'm expecting to see a few more like that at Youmacon (It makes me sad that you're not coming this year :[ )
Awesome, i just met back with those guys in the con as well.
I've seen your cosplayers everywhere, it seems like. You and the Critic are the ones I recall seeing the most.
I definitely want to do a Mechakara cosplay for MAG; the only problem? I can't find that damn claw! Everything else I can find no problem, but that claw is the needle in a haystack the size of Texas.
I should have something by January, though.
Someone thought I was cosplaying as you at NYAF. Sad part was I was't costumed as anyone, just dressed normaly with my Indiana Jones Fedora on (right color, wrong style hat). Also Cosplay Pollo FTW (even if the flaps aren't right).
The Monk Approves of this cosplay. so let it be written, so let it be done.
Well, seems like a better time than not to share this. Last year a friend of mine was planning to be the Nostalgia Critic at AnimeUSA, so at the last minute I decided to join him dressed up as you, Linkara.
It was incredibly last minute, but I thing I did go through the effort of actually getting a few of my favorite bad comics you reviewed. XD

I can send you the photos if you'd like, but there were no less than TWO 90's Kid cosplayers at Toronto's FanExpo this year. One even had a giant gun. "This gun makes me feel very secure in my masculinity!" he shouted at a giggling Insano cosplayer.
Oh, man, what I would give to see a group of cospayers in all the various incarnations of Linkara! Linkara Himself, Mechakara, 90s Kid, Harvey Finevoice, Ensign Munro, Dr. Linksano, Lester B. Bum . . . that would be just so friggin' awesome. Bonus points for Pollo and Bear!

Poor Pollo. It must be very uncomfortable to have a hand shoved up your ass, then waved around at an evil fleshy robot.
That's too cool!
Maybe you should post some good pictures of Pollo so others who want to make their own for Cosplay purposes have a good reference.
Damn. That's just one of the things I missed at NYCC for not being able to leave my booth :(
Dude! I totally made a Pollo for a high school art-class project last year! (Got a B-, by the way.)
AND on top of that I made a mini-Pollo to sit on top of my TV. So that's four known Pollos' in existance. Not bad. XD
I cosplayed as 90's Kid for a holloween party last year. Going agian this year as Mechakara (and, as one person pointed out, the claw is just impossible to find. I had to make a not-nearly-as-impressive replica of it.). Good times, good times. :)
My gawd it has been months since I've commented on your blog. Reason for absense? Er... I was kidnapped by... um... Silent Hill. Yeah, that'll do.
Ha, a friend linked me to those photos the other day. I love the cosplay Pollo. So cute. I wonder if there has been a Harvey Finevoice cosplayer yet? Or even... an Iron Liz cosplayer?
If I could cosplay as one of your characters, it would have to be Linksano. I can easily get all the bits needed for the costume, but it might look odd on me... because I'm female. Also, hiding my British accent might be a bit tricky too. I have tried to mimic the tone of voice you use for Linksano... and my god, it hurt my throat after doing it for a while. I think I know how you and Spoony feel now when it come to doing that voice.
And curse you for bringing Linksano back at the end of the Silent Hill review. Now my inner fangirl is forcing me to draw a crapload of fanart...
Curse you.
I'll draw something for Liz too while I'm at it. She needs more fanart.
All the best~
You could stand to mention it more.
Dodger Of Zion: Do a Google image search for "Awesome Arm", and compare the pics of it to the Mechakara hand in the Dead/Alive #3 and 4 video.

Try that. The parts are damn easy to find, and you really just need some silver spray paint to make it look robotic.
Anyways, I'm very surpised someone hasn't made a CubeeCraft or folding-paper version of TGWTG, or at least Pollo.
Not only did I cosplay as Dr. Insano at Nan Desu Kan this year, I also met a Linkara cosplayer. His picture is somewhere in this album. And if you ever need any of these pictures for anything, don't hesitate to ask:

Pollo!!!!
Man, I'm hoping to cosplay you at ACen! My girlfriend is going as Nostalgia Critic so we plan to beat each other up. Finding you gun is the tricky part. I found a bunch of toy ones which will do just fine but I have to get the colors right... *shakes fist* I WILL DO IT! HAHA! I tried finding the dragon zord dagger on ebay because the one I had when I was a wee one is no where to be found but the one I want doesn't show up that often. Good luck trying to find Saba. So my Linkara cosplay will sadly be incomplete.
