I'm going back to Conbravo again. Hope it will be as fun this year as it was last. Oh yeah, don't make any Timbit jokes unless you REALLY like Timbits, because you will end up getting truckloads of them. Yeah, Canadians are weird like that.

ReplyDeleteI would love to, but unfortunately I need to be invited to a UK convention. ^^; I unfortunately don't have the time or funds to go to conventions purely for fun - I have to do them as business trips to justify them.

Hmm... I wonder if that coincides with my summer break... and If I could afford such a trip... and put together a costume... unlikely, but a chance to meet my idol... I must see what I can do...

Linkara, have you ever gone to New York Comic Con? I ask because I went last year and tried to cosplay like you are, except with Mr. Spock ears and a Jon Pertwee Scredriver! I was the Spockter! It was a terrible costume. This year however, I will be 1981 BBC miniseries Arthur Dent!

ReplyDeleteObviously, the same would apply to one down here in Australia, but that's not my question, if you don't mind me asking: if invited, would you ever come to Australia? I can't think of any reason why not, I'm just wondering how you are about long plane trips and things. But if you are interested, here's the site.
