...Why would I? I'm not a huge TMNT fan and I haven't covered either series in video form.
I agree its a voice over you could do it over the phone. I don't know what they were thinking with that. I guess Barbra was in some area in the world where it had costed money to make that call. Even so power rangers is a 3 billion dollar project, I think they could have used a little bit of that money to pay for the call.

Hey there is this fan film called zordon of eltar, they just showed a trailer and it was good. This will show the battle between zordon and rita. With what was shown, it looks like that the dragon zord was a part of rita cause on her face is the symbol of the green power coin. That or she was the first green ranger and not Tommy. Check out this trailer on youtube it was really good.
Hey have you ever heard of this show called code lyoko? It was pretty good show. To me its a one of a kind. If you haven't heard of it, check it out if you start from the begening you won't be disopinted.

Episode 1-15 of super mega force summary's were reveled. It looks like that Cole back in wild force will return. If not him then his lion zord will. It also looks like Scott will come back as well. They did contact Eka Darville but they never said that he would return or not. I don't know for sure about Cole, because Ricardo did return as deker last time, and kids might be confused seance he was deker last year. What do you think?

Hey Lewis your not going to like this. You know how turbo theme was cars and the helmets also had that design. Well Japan has shown the next team and well its trains. Yep the theme is trains. The helmets and the rest of the costume is trained themed, and the zords are trains and the mega zord looks stiff.

Good luck with the unmasking's in overdrive, it was a little creepy when I first saw it. For me operation overdrive was o.k, sorry but for me mega force is the worst season. It was around that year when Disney was starting to get board with this show, but didn't want to end the show until Jungle Fury was over. However, the producers were able to get Disney to do one more season which created RPM. Good luck cause Disney didn't care anymore about the show starting in Operation Overdrive.
Hey did you know that power rangers would not exist if it weren't for marvel. Yep I'm mean it, the Toei had made a deal with marvel at the time that actually kind of made spider man a senti for a year. It's just been a continual THING for the last month or two - posting comments unrelated to the actual video requesting things that I have never, EVER expressed any interest or knowledge of.
And I'm referring in general, not to you specifically - just that it's been happening more lately than ever before.
Well I can't control what other people post to in the comments, I did talk to my friend chad and he didn't know who you were, but I did show him some of your work and he like's it a lot so consider him a fan of your's. Hey Lewis have you heard of gravity falls? If you look closely in the episode and at the end credits even the online game they show for a second a hidden message. Its not all that bad of a show. Its even getting the viewers to play along. If you listen to the opening for a second they say something think you can figure it out. The show really makes you ask questions.
Here's an idea find someone who likes overdrive and ask them to review it with you. What do you think of that idea?

@Anonymous they needed money at the time. I know they could have gone to somebody else at the time. But you are right that we would't have the giant mecks. Still kids like giant robots and who know's the series would not have done as well as it was and still is today. So yea it might have failed without the mecks and so we might not have power rangers if it wasn't for marvel.
Will you review Dr who the movie? You said when you did your Dr who comic that the 50th anniversary focused more on the revived series and had only references to the original. So being that Dr who has comic's as well that means that this is a comic book movie. So why not, it is the last part of Dr who with the original series.
Saban had just showed the name for the next power ranger season after super mega force. The season is called dino change. It looks like there skipping the senti gobusters and going to kyoranger. Makes sence after disney had ended the show and saban brought it back the series and samurai 2 seasons instead of 1, that does mean that saban want's to catch up. It does make the series anniversary seasons where there supposed to be. Think about it wild force may have been the 10th season but the show was only 9 years in, and overdrive was the 15th season but the show was only 14 years in, and now super mega force is a year behind cause mega force should have been in 2012, and super mega should have been in 2013. Now saban has to play catch up so that way the anniversary seasons in the right year.

The fist episode of power rangers super mega force is on nick.com. I'm only going to say 2 things one for the first time seance endgame in RPM, we see the rangers without there helmets on but still in the suits. Second when they changed into the ninja storm rangers they shouldn't have said the hole hi ya when they did the ninja shadow battle. Still great episode I give it a 9 out of 10. Go to nick.com to find it a weak early.
Oh yea I forgot to mention that power rangers dino charge will be the first power ranger season to not have a yellow ranger in it. Yea I mean it. No yellow ranger next year.

Yea I wish the master here was as the master in doctor who, that would have been funny. Anyway good luck with the next history of power rangers, this next one people think is the worst, but I don't mind it. I also think people keep on asking you for the next history of power rangers because you take even longer each time you do another. Look back to when you first began, you did it weekly. Then it was monthly. Then starting from wild force you took for months. Then by Dino thunder and spd you took 8 months, then here you took almost a year. It is like you don't want to do it anymore. I think the reason why people keep on asking you for the next one is not because they want it at that moment but because they don't want you to stop doing it.
Hey Linkara if you watch super mega force on the 8th this month the red lion zord from wild force will be in it. I if there will be a wild force cast member will be in it. Though its not the white ranger(it was confirmed)

You know I think overdrive had a lot of bad episodes, but the only episodes I liked was once a ranger, and that's because unlike forever red, this one help's advance the story of overdrive, just a little. Where as forever red did not advance wild force. It's not a breath of fresh air for the season, but to me that 2 part episode was way better then anything overdrive had. I just wish that in that 2 part episode, a wild force ranger was in it. Think wild force ninja storm dino thunder they all lost their powers. The sentinal knight(sorry about the spelling there I never knew how to spell it) said that he gave these former power rangers back there powers, so I wish that a wild force ranger like Merrick for example had also got back his powers.
Hey Linkara I found the reason why when ninja storm its really good but when its bad it is painful. The reason why louthor(sorry was never good with spelling his name.) was a male divatox. In reality he was meant to be a male divatox. Douglas Sloan and Ann Knapp Austen who worked on the first half of power rangers turbo and left when the second half was in production. They returned to work on power rangers during ninja storm and dino thunder. After what happened with ninja storm they had to do everything they had to try there best to get the ratings back up. You already know they got Jason David Frank to come back, but at first they wanted Austin St John to come back instead of Jason David Frank. However seance Austin was already a black ranger(his gold ranger looked black enough so some people called him black ranger) they decided to bring Jason back instead. I thought that Austin St john was more of a James Madison high school power ranger(you know the school in Brooklyn) cause you know black and gold look.
Well Cole did not return. That made no seance, it would have made seance to have him in it. The episode needed Shayla to be in it. That was the only way for what the red lion Zord did to make seance.

Hey Linkara there is an alt ending in power rangers wild force. Cole is a veterinarian. They did say that Cole went to help out animals wear ever he went but who knew he went to work at the vet. I don't know why the network cut that. This ending was not aired until October, 2013. At least now we know what happened to Cole.
What do you think about that fact that they cut that from the original ending?

I still think once a ranger was a good team up, all I can say is that I don't know what Disney was thinking. The rap song, and the way it was done seemed that they were high doing this season. Seance you do the history of power rangers and the one your about to do in my mind is the second worst theme song in the show's history (1 is mega force) it made me think about a top 5 list for some reason.
If you think overdrive is the worst season, then just get it over with. The more time you take with this season, the more painful it will be to watch. I'd say to make it less painful, watch something really good afterwords so that way you will remember this season but at the same time could have a little fun with it.

Because History of Power Rangers is MY project that *I* started with the express purpose of WATCHING ALL OF POWER RANGERS. The Pokémon reviews are Suede's videos that do not require my presence for future installments, other producers of expressed an interest in participating, and I have no desire to go through all the rest of them.

Seance you will one day do jungle fury, I would stay away from episode 6 of super mega force. If I were you, before you watch episode 6, at least watch a few episodes of jungle fury.

Sorry I missed it cause my computer was been broken for a little while and just got fixed. I'll check it out.
Also you asked a question in your doctor who classic comments about why did they not hire the actors that played the doctor for new dialog in there stock footage. It might have been because what they were saying might not have matched what looked like they were saying. That and Christopher Eccleston might have been working on Thor 2 at the time. I don't know how long that took to film. I understand why you were mad that they didn't ask them to do recordings of them with new dialog seance the actors that played doctors 4-8 were there at the time.
Also I saw your review on Pokemon 4ever and I think you have to remember it was still a time travel story at the same time and that can either be a hit or a fail. The Pokemon movies do another time travel story with the 8th movie and they did a way better job with that one. So yea I hope you continue to work with suede on those.
Also going back to doctor who, I was wondering if you would review the movie or not? If it failed to bring back the show then, I thought one day someone would see why that movie failed to bring back the show.
I don't get why Disney decided to stop working on power rangers. They end there other shows after every few years and replace them with others just because they ran for a while. Power rangers is a gold mine with that, so they could end the season and replace it with another. Well what ever the reason it does not matter know.

Power rangers Dino charge is going to have a grey ranger and a purple ranger. Wired that there adding in 2 colors but at the same time getting rid of one of the main 3 colors that they had seance 1993.

I'm glad that Disney didn't bring Jason David Frank in for once a ranger. It showed that they were trying to do something different, and it worked. It is the highlight of that unpopular season. It was cool to see Adam in the defender vest and in his black ranger suit again. I'd rather would have had the once a ranger team over the overdrive rangers any day. It was also funny to see Bridge as the red ranger here because, next to Tommy, he has gone through the most color changes as a ranger. First he was green, then blue, and then red. Using your joke back in your zeo review, you can make up a ranger team that is just Bridge in different time period's. Though it would be a mini team cause there only rangers in there and would be an SPD team. Cuase he changes color's but is still on the same ranger team. Which only Tommy has done. Not to mention Ninja storm, Dino thunder, Jungle fury, and I think RPM (I haven't seen that season in a few years so I don't really remember that one all that well) all started with 3 members of the team. So Bridge can do that.
Well saban has been lazy with the names for the next season of power rangers. There reusing Ivan (from the movie)Lucas (from time force) and Ryan (from light speed) Just figured if you ever do that season as an HOPR, I figured I should tell you that there reusing names a lot.
Why do you think overdrive is the worst? Mega force is worse than overdrive, at least they tried. Mega force did not care. Super mega force is better but it can be better. Episode 1 was really good. Episode 2 problem was calling the lost powers of eltar new powers but was a decent episode. Episode 3 problem was the mystic force elements that had nothing to do with the plot but was still really good. Episode 4 was the lack of a cameo. Episode 5 had even more ranger suits that were never seen in America. Plus Jaden was just there, and if you see the end of samurai there is a problem with what he gave them. Episode 6 should have been a 2 part episode, and Tory acted like a baby through out the episode, but was still a good episode overall. Episode 7 and 8 (that is a 2 part episode) was really good if you watch them back to back. The actor playing the silver ranger was going to be the red ranger here at first. Not to mention Troy is the worst red ranger in power rangers history. I have to ask why is Noah not the red ranger. At least he has a charter, Troy is just a back round charter overall. I find it ironic that in samurai, the red rangers got so much development and yet over here, the red ranger has hardly had any development. If you complain about Mack's charter when you do overdrive just remember Troy is worse. Also, Austin st John will not come back for the same reason Karen Ashley will not come back. He said that he will only be getting pocket change if he did come back. So much for any of the first 5 rangers coming back.

What really bugs me about this reunion is that they only gave a few actors the chance to return for this legendary war. You kind of can compare this to what doctor who did wrong when it aired the day of the doctor. In both cases, they only got a few of the cast members to return. Not to mention in doctor who they tried to make it look like every doctor was there trying to save gallefray (sorry never knew how to spell that.)

I just know that I will like forever red and once a ranger more than this. Just like on how I like the three doctors, the five doctors way more than day of the doctor. Its wired on how much someone can compare 2 different franchises that have nothing to do with one another.
Before you get to samurai, I might as well tell you that the actor that played Scott in RPM, was there in the clash of the red rangers. He at first denied it, but the actor who played Jaden reviled that he did do the voice of the RPM red ranger. It does make me wonder what they were thinking while they were filming it. I mean what was the point of having him only be in the red ranger suit, if actor was there. In the japan's version his senti counter part was seen not in the suit. I don't think the producers saw that much of RPM, cause of the way he acted. If you forget about that team up, and the hollowen special them samurai was a good season.
Sorry that was a typo, I meant to say then its a good season. Now that I think about it, have you seen Yugioh arc v? It just began airing in Japan. Well I like it, like all of the yugioh series. One more thing, when 4kids had lost the rights to yugioh, ADK took over with the dubbing, with power rangers Johnny Young Boash as the voice of Yuma. From what I found, the voice work was better with ADK.
Okay, I've been sifting through the AT4W blip archive to make up for the fact that the commercials only play half the time when I normally watch and came up on these eps in the order. I let them play as I worked and I gotta say, the concepts for this series of Rangers was really cool.
I have only casual knowledge of the Mighty Morphin rangers, and a good chunk of that I've learned from you when they've come up in an AT4W ep. I'd never even heard of this series but I'm really getting into the story. Don't know if I'll ever watch the series but am enjoying the hell out of your retrospective.
Well I stand corrected, Austin st John has put in a interest in returning for the season after super mega force. Being on what Dino charge sounds like, I think if they do that then they would rip off Dino thunder. But it would be cool to see Jason there.
Good news, Jason David Frank had gotten saban to get rid of the silver stripe on the green ranger helmet.

I know you don't like people asking but are you still doing the HOPR series? I'm not looking for dates or anything just want to know.
Hey Linkara will you be doing anything special during your next HOPR video? I mean yeah...that season does blow,(I myself remember I couldn't sit through all of it, that was until I heard of the anniversary episode, so I made sure to at least watch that episode) but what with the special anniversary episode I'd be curious to see if you are doing anything like a special intro or montage or something for that review.
Sorry if I'm bothering you. I eagerly await the next HOPR installment. It was my least favorite season, but I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it.

I gotta say that Mystic Force is not the best season in power rangers history but it actually was enjoyable, We all have to agree that it is way better than Operation overdrive, Turbo, Samurai, Megaforce, Ninja Storm and I even dare to say Wild force.
So it's actually one of the Ok seasons.
And Linkara keep up the good work I look forward for HOPR upcoming episodes.
And the award for the worst power ranger seasons go to mega force and super mega force. A 2 year build up for that. I saw your review of overdrive. Say what you will about the overdrive rangers. At least they were characters. BAD characters yes but NOT CARD BOARD CUT OUTS! Some of cameo's the legend war didn't even speak. That is a new low. The closest thing to a mega force and samurai team up was when Jaden handed then a disk (that could only be used once and already used) They never went legendary light speed rescue at all.They never explain the new powers and called then legendary even though they weren't. The legendary war had mainly featured the mega force rangers with really bad dialog. That made the first spider man movies dialog look good. Don't hate on overdrive after you see that season. It makes pokemon 4 ever look like of the top 10 best out there. That was a new low to sink. Not to mention they never talked about the pirate theme. The only episodes that were good were mega force episode 1, blue saber saga, and spirit of the tiger. And even then 2 of them had problems. Worst Power rangers series ever!
O.K I stand corrected. The extended version of the super mega force ending did have one light speed rescue change in it. Better but still not great. Still a bad series. Though Karone did have a line of dialog this time. Her part was the best part of the episode. You will understand why when you see it. But Mike and Emily and Damon still had NO lines. Still the worst series power rangers ever done. Don't hate on overdrive after that. 2 year build up for hardly anything at all. The only episode I would say to watch is spirit of the tiger only because that was the first episode to show the Jungle fury is an the same world as the rest of the power rangers series. (minus RPM) That made the clash of the red rangers look good and that was the worst power rangers team up of them all UNTIL NOW!

Then I opened a new tab, saw that video on youtube and figured I was already here why not leave a comment here about the video. I would have done the same thing with any of your other video's. If you just don't want anyone leaving a comment on your old website then fine. I just wanted to show you that video.
