Aw man, how is October already almost over?

I really hope you cover "Locke & Key" before it ends.

That's a lot of issues... I also like that in this series it seems characters aren't idiots like in most zombie series but DO have good ideas to accomplish things... even if it sometimes can fail by misfortune...

"You know there's very little meat on this fake hand." Cute

I never heard of the TV series. Then again I haven't watched TV much (Maybe less than 40 hours total added together) since I got rid of cable in 2001 or so.

I Like that they are smart enough to teach everyone to defend themselves. And really if you are in a survival situation there is no reason not to teach anyone with enough sense to handle a gun. Even if they are only 7 or 8 they can be taught how to handle it properly and safely. Heck in the 1800's that use to be common so that kids could also hunt for food when the budget was tight or market was running low on meat.

My dad's a huge fan of the show. Maybe I'll get him to read the comics.

"sigh" I respect fans of this series, but to me its nothing more than yet another OMG ZOMBIES AWSUME!!! story. I will compliment it though by saying at least there aren't many stupid characters in the series (at least from what I've read)

The fake hand part was funny as hell.

There's also a video game episodic series based on the comic. It's four episodes in with the finale coming this december. It's a real good adventure game, check it out when you can. It's a nice companion to the comics.

I wonder what Era did our host "lived" in or prefers if he's bashing TV ?. As for the comic, I didn't know that the TV series started as a comic. It just adds another reason for me to try and get into the Tv series or find the comic collection

I never liked the whole "wakes up from a coma, and finds the whole hospital empty" plot device
It's one of the biggest plot-holes I've ever seen, and I'm shocked more people aren't calling the writer up on this!

A comatose person needs care, otherwise they die of starvation - a coma is not the same as hibernation!
And if the zombies overrun the hospital, wouldn't they be the first to be eaten, seeing as they have no place to go?
And if the zombies didn't get in, would not that make the hospital into a safe haven for survivors?

Ah, this series is everywhere thanks to tv show. I'm quite curious about both really.

Didn't realize it was by the same creator of Marvel Zombies though.

*still snickering* I very much enjoyed this ep. Nice comment about the 'weirdos' who watch TV. I'm one of them but have never had an occasion to catch the series.

Someone brought up a good point about how would he still be alive after a month with no care and the zombies in the hospital. I'd never given it a ton of thought but that does raise some questions.

Good call on teaching the children how to handle the guns as well. No sense in them being everywhere and being clueless. Always made little sense to me why people resisted that in some survival stories.

Falling Skies for the fail on that one.

What is in the longbox? Are those worms on the sides or something? I think you need to fire the maid, Moarte.

Awesome ending line too.

i mostly know of the walking dead from that brilliant adventure game of the same name

You need to gnaw the flesh more slowly when you eat Moarte, you'll give yourself indigestion if you're not careful

Wow, those survivors are actually clever: Staying in the wilderness is a great idea considering that the highest zombie populations are most likely to be found in cities and other places of civilization. Barricading a supermarket or other building would be a far worse idea considering that the survivors will sooner or later run out of food and will then have to deal with the thousands of zombies gathering outside.

What's next? Do these guys aim for the head or what XD

I didn't really care for the first volume, the reason being that it didn't leave me with the impression that Kirkman knew how to build up suspense. Rick is reunited with his family way too quickly, and it's not even done in any kind of climactic fashion. The TV series wasn't much better - it does take until the third episode for him to get back to them, but we already know they've survived, and, again, it's wasn't even halfway through the episode. Can't say I'm going to continue this one with much enthusiasm. I'm liking the Telltale Game, though.

Yeah; television, living, and sanity is overrated

I was wondering that for a while. I was kind of guessing the 19th or early 20th century (helped by the fact that his design was based off if Lon Chaneny)
