Nice to hear the Hammer Dracula music again even though this one doesn't have Dracula in it. I would've suggested a different score from another vampire movie for this video like Brad Fiedel's score for the original Fright Night unless you're saving that for an issue of the comic book version.
I read the first couple issues of the New 52 version and it didn't resonate with me (mostly the artwork, the story seemed pretty good), but I think I will have to check out the original.
Awesome opening as ever.
You know what I like that idea of the so called lover turning evil, after all the I love & we'll be together forever etc etc.. a certain series might have been better if the "heroine" did become the villain when she became a vampire, but whatever.
By the way does Moarte prefer to say he wears a cape or cloak? Or does it depends on which sounds better with his accent?
Excellent, I hope you did Marv Wolfman's Tomb of Dracula. if not this year, next year.
An interesting fact, the New 52 version openly acknowledges the events of the original series, and can be actually seen as a loose continuation to it
Now THIS is a vampire story I can sink my teeth into lol. Sorry; had to:)
Not bad of a vampire story
Ah, I see DC has grabbed my interest with this one as Marvel did. Consider me sold. :)
I mostly watched this to try to figure out why you got so many requests for this, now I know why, it looks intresting.
I stuck with I Vampire, both this and the New 52 version.
While I did love the old version, the new version had a lot to draw me in like appearances from John Constantine, Batman, and others. And we got an all out battle of Zombies vs Vampires ! That was freakin awesome btw !
What I didn`t like was the fact that they made Andrew`s companions feel more like dead weight. They`re helpful at times but still it is a let down considering the original series. Oh well.
To bad it got canceled.
Great review as always Linkara, you never disappoint !
Also what exactly is Moarte`s supernatural species ? Is he a ghoul or a vampire ? Cuz I~m getting both vibs !
